Black Wolves: (an Older Dream)

Me and my best friend are walking down this path, its all dark and everything is kind of gray-scale. As we walk I slowly realize that we are walking along a the edge of a tall pine forest. I turn to her, and we both notice the moon in the sky and silently we agree that we should head back to my home now.
As we nod our heads I hear a long low howl. I look over to her and rather unconfidently reassure her that wolves always sound closer than they really are. This doesn't help much and we double our walking speed.
We hear another howl, again I try to reassure her that it will be okay.
But as I'm doing that the wolves come barreling out of the woods a good ways behind us. We run now. Run like we have never run before.
At some point I loose her, I don't seem to realize this as I scramble through the field, I can see my house now. But the wolves are even closer than before!

Finally I'm near my house, I dive and scramble under an ever green in my front yard.
I sit there panting as the wolves run by. One drops back though and starts to sniff around. She pokes her head under the tree for a moment and tells me to hurry and get to my porch. That I'll be safe once I'm home. That if I remain here I'll die.
I Blindly accept this and scramble for my back porch. I yank open the door, run in the Laundry room and start to bang on the back door wildly.
My youngest brother yanks it open and pulls me inside.

Everything in the house is normal and calm. My mom is making dinner and talking animatedly with my aunts. I'm in a panic though, I can't figure out where my friend is and no one seems to understand what I just went through. Except my youngest brother, he's the only one who believes me.
Desperate to have my family believe me I drag them towards the door and pull them out on the front porch.

A long wooden front porch with a roof and an electric fence around it and down the walk way, but open at the end of the walk way.
The wolves are standing in the yard, the wolf that spoke to me before looks at me pleadingly, almost asking me to come down there.
I ask her whats wrong?
She says that I'm in the most dangerous place possible and that I should really be worried about those behind me.
I turn and look, none of my family heard them, they don't even seem to care about the wolves. Slowly a sort of fear sets in, a fear of my family and I start to back away, I'm pulling my brother with me.
It's then that they act, they reach for me and start to pull me back to the house, telling me I can't do that it's dangerous. Telling me that I shouldn't go down there.
But I can tell those are lies and I'm utterly terrified now. They won't let me leave.
That's when the wolves run up the path and attempt to rescue me.

~~I wake up
